DOES DIABETES WEAKEN IMMUNE SYSTEM?

Diabetes was common called as Diabetes mellitus which is one of the group of the metabolic disorders which is characterized by a high blood sugar level over a prolonged period of time. The systems of a diabetes mellitus which include increased thirst, frequent urination, and increased appetite.

When you have diabetes, you are especially prone to foot infections, yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and surgical site infections.
In addition, yeast cells are more likely to conquer the mucous membranes.
some examples:  vagina, mouth, nose in people with diabetes. These Candida cells then inhibit with the normal infection fighting action of white blood cells. With white blood cells defective, Candida can reflect unchecked, causing yeast infections. High blood sugar levels contribute to this process.

Diabetes-Related Conditions Increase Infection Risk
Diabetic neuropathy nerve damage causes so many problems with sensation, particularly in the feet. In this lack of sensation sometimes means foot injuries go to unnoticed. Untreated injuries can be lead to infection. And some types of neuropathy is also can lead to dry, cracked skin, which allows a convenient entry point for infection into the body.
