Antibiotics do not work on viruses, such as those that cause  flu, colds, bronchitis, or runny noses, even if the mucus is broad,green  or  yellow. Antibiotics are apart needed for treating some infections caused by bacteria, but alike some bacterial diseases get better without antibiotics.

Virally affected cells produce and clear small proteins called interferon's, which play a role in immune conservation across viruses. Interferon's prevent replication of viruses, by straight interfering with their ability to replicate within an effected cell.

There are two types of leukocytes: lymphocytes  and phagocytes . Phagocytes engulf the intruders, broke them down and chew them up. Lymphocytes are further break down into two more types. The B-cells or B lymphocytes   create antibodies and alert the T-cells or T lymphocytes to kill the pathogens.

In extension to aches and pains, chills are other tell-tale sign that body may be downward off a virus. In fact, chills are generally one of the first symptoms that people notice when they're coming downward with the flu.
